Love and inner Freedom
“Love and Freedom are concepts that coexist. They are communicating vessels; one cannot exist without the other.
Love neither restricts nor imprisons others. When someone loves, it means respecting the other’s freedom above all else. Anyone who does not allow another person’s freedom does not love them; this shows only self-love.
Whoever does not love is not spiritually free because the base feelings that have developed in the place of love will pin that person down and drag him further down like the force of gravity. His experiences, based on his feelings and thoughts, will be unpleasant and will bind him to the negative consequences of his actions, to those he has wronged, to the spiritual debts he has created. Spiritual Law does not forget.
Our inability to love creates pain – mainly in ourselves and not only in those to whom we have refused to give our love.”
